Realme GT 6T is preparing to bring back the flagship Realme GT series to India. Realme’s founder and CEO Sky Li hinted at the return of the GT series in the country through an X post. The newest version will focus on attracting customers who are looking for something in the mid-premium price range in the country.
Realme has not disclosed any details about the nickname or upcoming phone. The brand has confirmed the release of the Realme GT Neo 6 in China on May 9. It’s confirmed that it will run on the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor. It will come as the sibling of the Realme GT Neo 6 SE, which was officially launched in April.
Sky Li confirmed the return of the Realme GT 6t series to India via an X post on Tuesday (May 7). As part of the brand’s sixth-anniversary celebration, it will launch the sixth generation of the GT series in the country. Realme wants to focus on attracting customers who are looking for something in the mid-premium price range with their new lineup. . The post didn’t provide more information about the nickname or features of the smartphone, but as mentioned above, the new lineup has been confirmed as a major offering.
Although the exact model is still undisclosed, there are speculations that the
Realme GT 6T will launched soon. Currently, Realme GT Neo 3 and GT 2 Pro are available for purchase in India.
Meanwhile, Realme is gearing up to launch the Realme GT 6T in China on May 9. It is said to feature an 8T LTPO display, IP65-rated build, up to 1TB storage, and a 5,500mAh battery with 120W fast charging support.
Realme GT 6T was launched in China in April for CNY 1,699 (approximately Rs. 18,000.It has 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It has a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 processor. The screen is an 8T LTPO OLED display with a sharp 1.5K resolution and super bright with 6,000 nits at its peak.. It sports a 50-megapixel dual rear camera unit and a 5,500mAh battery with 100W wired fast charging support.

The Realme GT 6T can connect through 5G, 4G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth v5.4, GPS, NFC, and a USB-C port. It also has cool stuff like a fingerprint scanner on the screen, can resist water, has an IR blaster, a special motor inside, is resistant to dust, and has stereo speakers. And guess what? It can do smart things like summarize calls, summarize text, create AI content, and translate stuff online.
The Realme GT 6T is priced as follows:
- The base variant, which comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, is priced at CNY 1,699, approximately INR 20,000.
- There’s also a variant with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, priced at CNY 1,899, roughly INR 22,000.
- The top model, featuring 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, costs CNY 2,399, which is about Rs.28,000.
